One of the upshots of being depressed is that time goes by more slowly. With a little attention in the right place, you can actually make use of that. Not that it makes the depressed part feel any different. There were a couple bright moments in there today. Along with some Lebanese pastries that were waay too sweet.
The bass preamp (the Alembic rackmount, not the new onboard setup) is on the fritz. Or making the fritz. Fritz fritz fritz it goes when I play through it. Sometimes not too bad. But I think a tube is shot.
car music: The Cure - Faith (the randomizer picked "Carnage Visors", the bonus track, for the first time today. I didn't get all the way through it before getting to work, but the 15 or so minutes I did hear I really liked); Cocteau Twins – selections from the singles/EPs box set.
P.S. the re-run of The Daily Show last night had me laughing out loud for a good couple minutes at the mention of "Doodles von Taintstain".
