Slept in a bit, well first I woke up at 5 AM for some unknown reason. Got back to sleep after 10 or 15 minutes. Then up at 9, a shower and some coffee, and out the door to practice. Two people short today, but we still got 3 hours of good work in. My attention started to waver near the end, however. Out for a light lunch at Tacos Guaymas w/ Igor, Travis, Bob, and Jaxie. The topic of conversation was mostly relationship related; got some advice that I am grateful for but unsure about. Noticed I was blushing about halfway through, and it stayed that way for a few hours. That's been happening a lot lately. It's not that I'm embarrassed, I'm not quite sure what it is. Nothing about the past couple months has actually embarrassed me, or engendered any fear of embarrassment.
Then a quick stop at home and then up to my Dad's for his birthday dinner. My sister and her husband were there by the time I arrived; we caught up on things and conversed for a couple hours, then went to the store to pick up some food. Nothing fancy – some pasta, a salad, garlic bread, brownies and ice cream. A lucky pick of some Australian Shiraz (Jester) that was pretty good. After dinner, a few more hours of visiting, then I headed home around 9:30. Watched an episode of Scrubs, played some bass.
I have some shopping to do tomorrow, got to get some fancy duds for the cruise.
